Committed stores commitment titles, definitions, reasons, check-in states, notes, dates, lifecycle details, and local settings on your device.

Committed has no account or backend sync, does not run ads or tracking, and does not collect your journal on a Committed server. Reminders and daily records stay local to your device.

Committed does not require an account and does not use an app-operated backend or cloud-sync service. Your journal is not sent to a Committed server.
If you turn on reminders and grant permission, Committed schedules a generic notification locally on your device. The notification does not include your journal content. iOS manages permission and delivery.
A user-requested export contains your journal in a readable JSON file. You choose where to share it, and Committed removes its temporary copy after the share sheet closes. Device or iCloud backups may include app data according to your Apple device settings.
Committed does not include developer analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. Apple may provide diagnostics if you choose to share them with developers in your device settings.
Committed does not send your journal content to the developer. If you email support, the information you choose to include is used only to understand and respond to your request.
Erase All Data in Settings removes the local journal, app settings, reminder preference, and pending reminder from the device. Deleting an individual commitment permanently removes that commitment and its check-ins.
The current launch build uses notification permission only when you choose reminders. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or Health data.
