Carafe has no account or backend sync, does not run ads or tracking, and does not collect your water log on a Carafe server. Reminders and the Home Screen widget work locally on your device.
Carafe stores drinking vessels, water entries, daily target, display preferences, reminder settings, and local app state on your device.
Carafe shares a compact water-progress snapshot with its Home Screen widget through an Apple App Group on your device. This data is not sent to the developer.
If you turn on reminders and grant notification permission, Carafe schedules notifications locally on your device. Reminders are optional and can be changed or disabled.
Carafe does not require an account and does not use a backend sync service. Your water entries and vessel data are not sent to a Carafe server.
Carafe does not use HealthKit, location, camera, contacts, or third-party data sharing in the current launch build.
Carafe is planned as one paid App Store download. The app does not contain an in-app purchase, subscription, free trial, paywall, entitlement gate, or restore-purchase flow.
Carafe does not include developer analytics, advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or social sharing.
